Erin Lahowetz
Even as a kid, Erin would use art to communicate, drawing out pictures to ‘talk’ to others rather than speak. Although she does talk now, Erin still makes art as a way to non-verbally communicate to her viewers. She likes to cover physiological, social, and other various difficult topics in her art; including animal rights, internal struggles, and chaos and disorder. For Erin art is a way to express what is difficult to put into words and to get people thinking and discussing.
